Rachel Evans grew up in London, and like many adolescents she struggled to find her identity. Even now it's difficult looking back at childhood photos because they remind her of more trying times.
Back in high school, Rachel says she was beaten and bullied. Classmates picked on her because she grew up without a father and her mother battled depression.
Rachel ended up going to therapy to help her through her own bouts of depression.
Then, when she entered her mid-30s, Rachel began changing her style and found that the more she wore pink, the happier she felt. She realized that Barbie was a source of inspiration for her, along with Barbie's message that "you can be anything."
That's when Rachel realized she wanted to look like Barbie — and she has since reconstructed "every inch" of her face to achieve her transformation goals.
Rachel has undergone more than 100 procedures, including breast implants, fillers, and Botox. Not only that, but her obsession with Barbie can also be seen in her "Barbie Dreamhouse" abode and in every outfit she wears.
The 49-year-old continues to keep up with her procedures in an effort to hide any signs of aging.
"I can't see any time I’m going to stop," she told Barcroft. "I'm going to continue until I'm 80."
