Man Creates A Colorful Rainbow Bracelet Using Regular Crayons

Like many people, every item of jewelry I wear has a unique and special reason for being there. It's rare when I put something on "just because," especially when it's something I plan on wearing every day. That said, I also enjoy adding a dash of color to my life whenever possible, so items like the one made in the video below definitely catch my eye.

Craftsman Peter Brown loves experimenting with different materials in his workshop, creating totally one-of-a-kind knickknacks. His go-to project is using his lathe to spin ordinary materials into beautiful bracelets and rings. Brown likes the idea that instead of just sitting around in someone's home, his items can be worn out and about and become a part of the person's life. And watching as he carefully molds the crafts, it's clear how much love he puts into each and every one!

For this project, he melted down several crayons into one big, vibrant block of wax. Like his flower bud vase made of the same material, he uses his power tools to shave it down, this time into a beautiful rainbow bracelet. It's so interesting to see something we already use on a regular basis for artistic projects completely transformed from a whole different angle.

After creating the hole for a hand to slip through, which of course creates a hilariously colorful mess, he gets to work on sizing the rest of it down. I would totally wear the gorgeous result!
