In an age of social media, one instance of bad customer service can cause major, major problems for a business.
I've heard stories about people writing about their bad experiences on Twitter and having strangers bombard the business' Yelp page with awful fake reviews. You truly never know what one unhappy customer could be capable of.
Everyone handles bad service differently. Unless you're seriously scorned, hopefully you can end up laughing it off like this guy did after the worst flight of this life, but I think we've all been in the position where an incompetent employee makes our blood boil.
YouTube prankster and occasional customer service hero Jack Vale knows exactly what this feels like. When he created this video of himself getting revenge on careless superstore employees, shoppers everywhere rejoiced. However, as he points out in his latest video, there are plenty of hard workers out there who don't deserve a bad customer service reputation.
In the following video, Vale decides to "prank" various employees by thanking them with a surprise for doing a great job. Essentially, he's really just paying them a little something extra for doing their jobs, but since so many people out there don't put the customer first, I think you'll agree it's a heartwarming gesture.
