Joe Jonas Reportedly Found Ring Camera Footage Of Sophie Turner That Prompted Divorce

Something that Joe Jonas saw via Ring camera footage is allegedly what led him to believe his relationship with Sophie Turner could not be fixed, according to TMZ. Sources did not say what the footage showed Sophie doing.

Joe filed for divorce on Tuesday, September 5, and according to court documents, said the marriage was "irretrievably broken." The divorce came as a shock to some, but TMZ reported that Sophie and Joe were having issues for months.

A source also told TMZ that the couple's divorce was due to lifestyle differences. While Joe is more of a homebody, Sophie loves going out, and this contributed to their relationship conflicts, the source claimed.

“She likes to party; he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles," the source told TMZ.

Sophie is 27 years old while Joe is 34. They share two kids together, but the kids have reportedly been spending more time with Joe. A source told People that Joe and Sophie are both involved in parenting their children, but the kids have been spending more time with Joe because Sophie is currently filming. Joe is on tour, but his family is able to help with taking care of the kids.

"She has been shooting which is why the kids have been with Joe. It's just been easier because she's been working for the kids to be with him because there's some more support at home and on the road with his family. It’s something they both agreed was best," a source told People.

Sophie and Joe dated for almost three years before getting married in 2019. On Wednesday, September 6, they released a joint statement on Instagram. "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage," the statement said. "There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

Fans started to notice that something was up before news of their divorce officially broke. Joe has been on tour, and Sophie was not present at several shows. Us Weekly also reported that both Joe and Sophie were seen without their wedding rings. Following rumors that they were speaking to divorce attorneys, Joe was seen wearing his wedding ring again.

Rumors about lifestyle differences leading to their divorce have confused some fans because Sophie has also previously called herself a homebody and an introvert.

In 2020, Sophie told Conan O'Brien that she loved staying at home and didn't really have a problem with staying home at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I'm an introvert. I'm a homebody. I'm just like, if I could stay home all day, I would, so this is great for me," she told Conan at the time. During the same interview, Sophie called Joe "a social butterfly" and said he loves going out and doing things.

Joe and Sophie first met in 2016. Joe contacted Sophie via Instagram and they met up at a bar when Joe was touring in the UK. They got engaged after a year of dating and got married in 2019.

They had their first child a year after they got married, and had their second child in 2022.
