What an amazing and heartfelt story! A wonderful woman saw a baby bird had fallen two stories from its nest. Once she stabilized the bird, she called the SPCA, as the nest was too high for her to reach. She didn't want to leave the bird in such poor condition on the ground, as she knew his chances of survival would be slim-to-none. So, she took it upon herself to rescue the poor bird and nurture him back to his second chance.
For weeks, this woman helped raise this bird, who she named Alberto, through the very beginning of his life when he was totally helpless and needed care, and also integrated him back into his natural environment, ultimately letting him fly away, free. It's a total success story, from rescue to release – and we get to see it all on camera!
I am so happy she and her daughter got to experience how amazing it is to save a life, even if that life is only a tiny animal. This is the story of what happened.
