What would you do if you looked out your car window and saw a polar bear walking through the streets?
It's not something that will likely happen to most of us, but, as this Greenpeace PSA demonstrates, there could come a day when most polar bears find themselves homeless.
The Arctic is one of the most beautiful places on earth, and it's remained untouched for many, many years. But now, because of drilling and industrial fishing — not to mention pollution — this amazing landscape is changing. The polar ice caps are melting, causing animals like polar bears to suffer a loss of their natural habitat.
Watching commercials like this is never easy for me, but I think we need to expose ourselves to things like this more often. Sometimes we forget all of the changes the earth is going through thanks to humans, and the more it's in our face, the harder it will be to ignore the problem. It's not about feeling guilty, it's about finding ways to help!
