The power of nature can be terrifying. Just look at all of the natural disasters that have happened in recent years, with events like floods, hurricanes, and sinkholes lurking around every corner.
But not everything in nature is scary! There are some events that may shock you, but when you look at them with a keen eye? They're actually very beautiful.
Thunderstorms, for instance, can be pretty frightening, especially if it's nighttime and there's a chance the power could go out. But, as long as you're safe in your home, that thunder and lightening is most likely not going to do anything to harm you. So, you might as well take the opportunity to marvel at this wonder of nature. That incredible boom that comes along with that sudden bolt of electricity is unlike anything else out there, especially if it's really close. And when the night sky lights up as if it were day? Amazing.
Other events like big rainstorms, a sudden hailstorm in the middle of the summer, or even something as simple as a gust of wind that rattles the branches and leaves in just the right way, are moments to be savored. Our Earth really is an incredible place, and it's capable of so much beauty.
When this softball team was in the middle of an inning, they never thought that they'd have to call a time-out for something like this. When the wind kicked up in just the right way, they found themselves right in the middle of something fascinating.
