We all know how much of an effect amazing teachers can have on our lives, even far beyond our time of being in school. But one teacher's story about two of his former students has everyone swooning — and for good reason!
Kevin McClintock, a Southern California teacher, recently went viral for a love story that he posted on TikTok. And that love story just so happened to include two students who used to be in his class.
Kevin randomly set two students next to each other. Years after they graduated, they returned and asked him to officiate their wedding.

"You sit two students together and they 'talk,'" the TikTok video starts off. "You notice them talking after class. Next class you see them still talking," the video continues.
"Years after graduation they come back to visit you… and ask you to officiate their wedding," the post ends. A wedding photo of Kevin crying that his students turned into a meme is the final slide of the video.
"I bet you never realized that seating charts could change course of your whole life #mrmctiktok #tiktokteacher #shipped #uglycryingface," the video was captioned. And he's right — talk about a full-circle moment!
People absolutely loved the story, and their comments show it. "Being that teacher that we come back to visit years later is peak, I still have those two teachers I will bother on occasion when I go back home," one person said.
Other comments harped on the fact that their teachers would never play the Cupid role. "Y’all’s teachers over here playing Cupid, and my teachers over here be moving me to the other continent away from my crush," one comment said.
"Yall teacher playing cupid and my teacher did everything in her power to make sure my relationship ended ," another user said.
Overall, the love story gained a lot of views. It's truly one to remember — and an awesome opportunity that Kevin received from his former students.
