Have you ever noticed it's nearly impossible to see or hear someone yawn without yawning yourself? Some people can't even read the word without doing it…and just writing that first sentence caused me to unleash a pretty big yawn myself. Just like happiness and the flu, yawns are pretty contagious, and if you don't believe me, just ask these three tiny kittens. When their owner yawns, he starts the most adorable chain reaction ever!
Forget counting sheep — watching adorable animals open their mouths wide for a satisfying yawn is definitely my preferred method for getting to sleep quickly. And from the looks of it, just being around each other is enough to make these cuties want to take a little cat nap! Just like this baby sloth that doesn't seem to even want to keep his eyes open, it won't be long before these kitties are off to dreamland.
My favorite part of this video is when the third kitten steps away, almost like she's trying to avoid "catching" the yawn! But just like her siblings, she soon becomes a victim of the cutest curse in history. I couldn't even get past watching the first kitten without yawning, but if you managed to make it all the way through, I guarantee that all these adorable yawning animals will do it for you. I have no idea why this simple reflex is so contagious, but it's definitely adorable when it happens to fuzzy critters!
