Use Toothpaste To Patch Up A Hole In The Wall In Just Seconds!

Who knew toothpaste could be used for much more than keeping our teeth clean. Heck, according to nurses, it can be used to help you breathe?!

But this simple little hack offers something a little more — and it's going to save you tons of time and money. The YouTube channel Clixstorm teaches us how to quickly fix up everyone's least favorite eyesore: a hole in the wall. Holes happen. And everyone has a tube of toothpaste in the bathroom cabinet.

The good news is the crusty edges that collect around the cap are best suited for this project. Toothpaste doesn't rot or mold so this can be used as a permanent fix or a temporary one until you gather supplies from the hardware store.

All you have to do is squeeze toothpaste into the hole. Preferably using the crustier bits which tend to be more paste like, but the regular textured toothpaste will work as well. He recommends good old-fashioned Colgate. Let the toothpaste filling dry overnight. The next scrape day, using the flat bottom of the Colgate tube scrape off the excess toothpaste. If your wall isn't white, off-white, or eggshell, you can paint over the patch to match the color of your walls. There you have it, a cheap, easy fix for one of those pesky unavoidable problems!
