Can you imagine having a giant tortoise living in your home?! For many people, Sulcata tortoises make wonderful pets, but they are not as easy to place as say, a puppy or a kitten!
Meet Louis, a male Sulcata who has really taken on the role of dominant male at the American Tortoise Rescue center. This giant was in need of a forever home, after he was fighting with the other rescue tortoises. At only 10 years old, it was very important that his new home will think about the future of this animal, who can easily live to 100 years old.
I'm so happy this amazing animal has a happy ending! Please SHARE this story if you love all animals and want to spread the word about animal rescue!
