Woman Finds Her Dopplegänger Thanks To An Amazon Hair Dye Review

As a kid, I remember one of my brother's friends swearing his grandpa had shown him a photo of a little boy who looked just like him running around a totally different country. We were skeptical at first, especially when he couldn't produce the photographic evidence, but the more he talked about, the more we wished we could find our own doppelgängers.

I hadn't thought about it much since then until stumbling across this strange story recently. Apparently, the seemingly rare phenomenon isn't as uncommon as it seems! Now that we live in the age of the internet, our small world has gotten a lot bigger, meaning there's even more opportunity for you to happen upon someone walking around with your face.

In fact, there's a whole website dedicated to help folks find their mirror image known as Twin Strangers. That's exactly how lookalikes Ambra and Jennifer met each other, but the two women seen below had help from a different site entirely.

It all started when 29-year-old Katie Morrow decided to exchange her dark locks for a more vibrant look.

The Connecticut resident went with this ultra-bright red color, but she wanted to check out some reviews online before applying the dye.

That's when she found this comment while browsing the evaluations for L'Oreal Excellence HiColor HiLights in magenta on Amazon.

The words of encouragement for the product were written by 23-year-old Paula Petra from Atlanta, but it was the photos along with it that really caught Katie's eye. As you can probably see for yourself, the two are dead ringers for each other!

Katie even sent the photo out to her friends and family to say that is how she would look when the dye was done, but they thought it was a photo of the finished product and said she did a great job!

After reaching out to Paula, with help from the crew at Twin Strangers, they discovered they had more in common than their looks. Everything from favorite foods to favorite music were in sync, and the two formed an instant kinship.

Paula soon made the trip out to Connecticut to meet face to face. They both felt like they'd already been friends forever, definitely counting their blessings and calling the dye their "lucky charm" for bringing each other into their lives.

Take a look at the video below to watch the moment they see each other in person for the first time.

And be sure to SHARE their incredible story with your friends!
