Gloria Gaynor's 1978 hit "I Will Survive" is certainly a disco anthem. It's one of those tunes that's been passed on from generation to generation, and it's distinguishable from the first few words. Come on, who doesn't recognize this: "At first I was afraid, I was petrified/Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side…"
Much like other timeless classics (especially the ever so famous ballad "I Will Always Love You"), many singers have performed the song in the years since its release and continue to do so.
Below, two men take on the classic track while driving around in a car. However, it's not the same type of cover you are probably thinking about. Instead, they hilariously lip-sync the empowering tune and add a few dance moves into the mix. (This moment is just as funny as the father who performed Pitbull and Kesha's "Timber" in the car with his daughter!)
Jason Allen, the one on the right, shared the video on his Facebook page, and it was viewed more than 200,000 times in less than two weeks. There's also a flood of comments from viewers who enjoyed every second of the hilarity.
Watch for yourself below and please SHARE if you found this as funny as I did!
