Woman Delivers Baby Boy In Her Bathroom Toilet

While a woman's due date is often a clear indication of when the baby is coming, there are times when it's not accurate. And oftentimes the baby comes when Mom least expects it.

Who could forget about the time NBA star Iman Shumpert helped deliver his baby girl at home when fiancée, Teyana Taylor, went into labor a month earlier than expected?

That was also the case for a Canadian couple, who experienced a similar birth when their little one came six weeks early.

Joanne Fontaine’s water broke as she was getting ready to use the restroom. Moments later, her little bundle of joy was born right inside the toilet before paramedics could make it to the house in time.

Thankfully, the baby’s father, Flinn Dorion, was there to help his girlfriend. He lifted the baby from toilet and cleaned him off.

Eventually, paramedics from the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service in Winnipeg, Canada, arrived and brought the family to the hospital.

“The Winnipeg fire paramedic service is pleased to have played a part in this safe and happy out-of-hospital delivery. We wish the family all the best as they welcome their newest member into the world,” Chief John Lane told CTV News.
