Teresa Patterson had no idea that anything was going on with her terrier Joey and Rottweiler Zara until the day they had puppies! Because Joey is so small, and Zara is so big, she really didn't think that they would end up mating – but somehow, they did!
"I didn't think nature would let this happen," Patterson told news outlets, "but at some point it did."
The puppies, called "Wotties," are adorable, and according to their owner, have sweet temperaments just like their parents.
While Patterson is happy to have a bunch of little ones running around, she says the mating process, "won't happen again," and is taking Joey in to be neutered very soon.
This adorable story proves that sometimes – love has no bounds!
