A puppy in Georgia was reportedly almost stolen by an Amazon driver. The incident was caught on camera and has now gone viral. Terrika Currence, from Henry County, Georgia, told WSB-TV that she opened the door to get the package and bring it inside, and her daughter shouted, "The Amazon guy stole our puppy!” She rushed to the Amazon truck and shouted at the driver. “As soon as I opened the truck, he has the puppy inside of a bin. I had to grab the puppy and get him off the truck,” she told the outlet. “He was ready to pull off with our dog.”
The incident is still being investigated. WSB-TV also reported that the man is no longer working as a delivery driver for Amazon. “We’ve apologized to the customer and glad their dog was returned unharmed. The driver involved is no longer delivering for Amazon and we’ve reached out to the law enforcement to assist as they investigate," a spokesperson said in a statement shared with the outlet.
The experience has been hard on the woman's daughter. "She's in fear that every time a delivery driver comes, they're potentially going to take the puppy," the mom told Atlanta News First.

Terrika also told the news outlet that the driver made comments about her dog, but she didn't realize that meant he would try to steal the family's beloved puppy.
"He literally told me that the dog was pretty, that he would love to have a puppy, but I wasn't thinking he was going to take my puppy," she told Atlanta News First.
