By now, you’ve probably seen plenty of cakes with a sweet surprise inside — from hidden rainbows to green shamrocks — but Youtuber Elise Strachan of MyCupcakeAddiction has taken surprise desserts to a whole new level.
In the video, she starts by making a black and white zebra cake but gets festive. From the outside, you have no idea that there is something extra special hiding underneath all the cake and icing.
She demonstrates how to make the cake so that, when you cut into the finished dessert, you see rainbow zebra stripes inside!
She shows how to use colorful layers of cake, buttercream frosting, and food dye to create the eye-popping treat. The video is a little lengthy, but it's worth watching to the very end to see the final product.
