My life gets so busy sometimes that I feel overwhelmed, and I’m not a parent — not even a pet parent.
I can’t even fathom what it’s like to have a kid, little less a helpless baby.
Yet, I am at an age where plenty of my good friends have babies it’s not like their old lives and responsibilities seized to exist as soon as their bundle of joy entered their lives. They’ve got to juggle midnight feedings, dirty diapers, and the life-threatening habits of a crawling danger-magnet…all while reporting to a job, cleaning a house, and whipping up dinner. It’s nuts, yet remarkable and very inspiring.
Conner Kendall is a busy mom that was dining at a TGI Fridays after a long day of travel, when her baby began to cry. It was time to nurse him. So, she did what any mother would do: She breastfed her son.
This was not okay with one fellow diner and he decided to share his disgust to social media…

The fellow diner was so appalled by this mother’s act, he decided to photograph her as she nursed, without her knowledge, and posted this picture and message online:

Connor eventually found out that a stranger had taken her picture without her knowledge and had publicly shamed her. She took matters into her own hands and wrote this great response:
“Dear Mr. (Name removed, because I’m not bashing like I was bashed),
I just wanted to let you know that I am the mother who was breastfeeding my son at TGI Fridays today. I am also the woman that you felt the need to take a picture of while I was doing so. Then proceed to post said picture on social media in a shameful manner. As I was admiring how adorable your daughter was, you were posting pictures of me on Facebook and Instagram.
While I in no way, shape, or form owe you any explanation I would like to clarify a few things. I did nothing wrong, I turned away to latch my son and pulled my shirt back up when he was finished out of respect for others in the restaurant. I do not use a cover, because my son fights them, screams, and doesn’t eat at all while under them. If he had been screaming because he was hungry then I would be a bad mom for not feeding my hungry child. I did not pump before leaving home, A-because my son does not like to take a bottle and B-because it is my right to feed him any way I see fit wherever I see fit.”
Since Conner posted her letter, it’s gone viral. It has been shared over 94,000 times and has received overwhelming support:
