Little Boy Battling Cancer Clutches Dad’s Hand As His Wish To Become A Cop Comes True

There are so many different jobs in the world, and so many expectations for each of those jobs. Ultimately, when you choose what you want to do when you grow up, it's because you think you'd enjoy fulfilling those expectations.

Being a police officer, it's your job to keep people safe and help them.

Being Colin Toland, the goal in life seems the same to him.

He is only 9-years-old and has been battling cancer for years, but that hasn't stopped his spirit from growing strong.

When Police Chief John Barber met Colin at an event in their town, Colin told him about his dreams to be a police officer just like him.

Not too long after, Chief Barber made that dream come true for this amazing little boy.

When interviewed about why he wanted to become a police officer, he offers a lot more than one simple answer. He reminds us to chase our dreams no matter what they are, and he says, "I just like helping people."

This little boy has been on earth decades shorter than most of us, but he is clearly wise beyond his years. Hopefully, he only becomes wiser and healthier in the future.

The amazing energy he gives off is heartwarming, I can only hope he continues to become wiser and healthier in the future. He's come so far since the last time we saw him! I have high hopes for this little hero.
