When Texas Police Sgt. Alan Eddins got out of his cruiser and approached a group of children, the kids' mother immediately pulled out her cell phone. The video is going viral — and it's for all the right reasons.
Eddins was during around the city of Ennis on July 4, when he spotted the kids dancing. They looked like they were having so much fun that he decided to join them!
"I guess all EPD ain't bad. Look at officer Eddings out with the kids doing the Nae Nae," Shanitra Mrsflockaflame Robinson captioned the video on her Facebook page.
The video shows Sgt. Eddins dancing the "Nae Nae" with the children to the song "Whip It." The cop doesn't miss a beat!
It is amazing to see cops going above and beyond the call of duty in expected ways — like the cop who risked his life to save a woman on the highway or the law enforcement officer who gave a lonely old woman a heartwarming surprise.
"I just stopped to chat with them and see what's going on," Eddins said in an interview. "They invited me to come out and do that [dance] and I reluctantly agreed."
