Anytime I see an animal in need, I do everything in my power to help them.
Some animals are more afraid if a human approaches them to help, so I always do my best to move very slowly, so they have a chance to run if they don't feel safe.
When two men noticed a deer in need, they didn't hesitate in helping. They didn't have to worry much about her running off, as the poor thing was stuck in the mud.
It wasn't just any kind of mud. It was so thick, it was almost like this deer was stuck in wet cement. That didn't stop them from jumping into the mud to comfort her.
Working together, the two men managed to figure out a way to wriggle some rope under the deer to try and pull her out to safety. They can't do anything too quickly, as they aren't entirely sure how far into the mud she is.
Luckily, their idea works, and they're able to get this young deer unstuck! She quickly trots away from them, but not being stopping to look back at her rescuers.
If deer could talk, I'm sure she would have thanked them before running away!
