Rescuer Grabs Trapped Deer’s Antlers, So Frantic Animal Drags Him On Ground Before He’s Freed

Although our first responders don't hesitate to come to the rescue of all kinds of animals who may be in danger or trapped, they don't always necessarily have all the tools and methods at their disposal to conduct a rescue that would be safe for everyone involved.

Thankfully, there are organizations that take care of our wildlife and don't hesitate to put themselves in harm's way to ensure the safety of an animal in trouble.

One such group is Wildlife Aid based in the U.K. The kind employees and volunteers have given sanctuary and medical attention to all kinds of animals: from deer to rabbits and even foxes!

But it's this latest rescue of a young buck that shows just how dedicated these individuals are to the animals. Simon Cowell and his team received a call about a deer stuck in a fence, but when they arrived on the scene, they realized that this rescue wasn't going to be easy in the slightest.

In fact, they didn't just have to get the deer untangled from the fence, but also somehow get him to a clearing where they could set him free. The area in which he was found was too small, and he would likely get stuck again.

Cowell and a colleague's dangerous undertaking involved grabbing the deer by the antlers, which the animal was understandably not happy about. He kicked and struggled with the men, sending them tumbling to the ground a few times.

Now watch the clip to see how this rescue finally came to an end.
