Police officers all over the country recognize that while their job may put them in harm's way, it's truly a calling and they wouldn't dream of doing anything else. A huge part of the job is keeping people safe at home and in the streets, but it's also getting to know these people. Cops often organize or are a part of community events and get to know the residents under their protection.
Sometimes, it's a single random act of kindness that sets one apart from the others. Check Officer James Hurst, who comforted a lost little boy in the hospital! He is one out of many who are changing lives.
Some officers from the Denver Police Department took a break from their duties and came together with some children for a well-known favorite: tug-of-war!
Many of us played this game as kids, and sometimes, there's nothing more fun. It was only five cops against a large group of children, though the officers were visibly physically larger than the children.
Now watch the clip and see if you accurately guessed who would win this friendly fight. Let us know if you got the answer right in the comments.
Please SHARE to thank our officers for all that they do!
