Freezing Weather Creates A Beautiful Ice Sculpture In Italy

While the winter can be bitter, there are moments when it is simply beautiful. There's just something magical about snow falling or large bodies of water freezing.

Don't believe it? Just look at this massive ice bridge collapsing right in front of your eyes or these majestic photos of Siberian huskies walking on a frozen lake — and try not to be blown away.

Similar beauty was also captured on Italy's Pratomagno mountain range, and it's pretty remarkable. In the video below, we see the Croce del Pratomagno in a completely new way, as it's all covered by ice.

The historical landmark, which was built in 1928, is almost unidentifiable. Yet, it's also pretty breathtaking once the cameraperson walks inside the ice sculpture and points the camera to the sky. I don't know about you, but I certainly wouldn't mind taking a hike to see the Croce del Pratomagno in its ice form (while wearing a very heavy jacket and winter boots, of course).

Pratomagno shared the video on its Facebook page, and it had more than 200,000 views and 5,000 shares in just a few days.

Watch below and let us know if you are also fascinated by the work of Mother Nature.

And please SHARE the beauty with your friends!
