‘Karen’ Seemingly Chases Black Woman At Victoria’s Secret, Freaks Out Over Being Filmed

Ijeoma Ukenta went to the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey. While browsing the underwear bin in Victoria's Secret, she says the woman shopping beside her was standing uncomfortably close.

Ijeoma, a Nigerian American woman, casually asked the woman to give her some space, which prompted her fellow shopper to complain to an employee; she claimed Ijeoma threatened her. The situation only escalated from there.

What happened next led to the woman being dubbed the "Victoria's Secret Karen."

As Ijeoma stood there filming, the woman seemingly charged at her and chased her before having a meltdown near the cash registers — splayed out on the floor, begging not to be filmed, screaming and crying. She then went so far as to call the police on Ijeoma.

Now that her videos have gone viral, Ijeoma is speaking out and criticizing the police and security guards for their handling of the situation.

She raised over $100,000 on GoFundMe so she can hire a lawyer to defend herself against the "Victoria's Secret Karen."
