It's always wonderful to see people go above and beyond for someone who might not be used to that type of treatment. And for a lot of people living with disabilities, it's rare to receive the respect or kindness that they deserve.
Even children with disabilities are can be made to feel ignored or left behind by their peers.
Take this little boy living with autism whose father recorded his teachers speaking to him at school. What the dad heard on the tapes was extremely upsetting, especially the lack of comfort that his son received when he was heard crying on the tape.
This is a child that needs extra attention and care, not less, from his teachers. Children with special needs deserve the kind of love that this father shows his son when he creates a device to allow him to experience what it feels like to walk. Just look at this little boy's face!
For one young baseball fan, his team's mascot was about to turn his whole day around.
He had no idea that the mascot would be able to communicate through sign language, but judging by the look on his face as he turns back to his parents, it's a total day-maker.
And his parents are just as moved by the moment as their son. It's amazing to watch!
