Ashley and Tyler Gardner struggled with infertility issues for eight long, emotional years. Nothing seemed to work, and they shared their heartbreaks with the world eventually on social media, which gained national attention.
But they didn't give up on their dream of a baby, and ended up getting even more than they prayed for.
Eventually, they were pregnant, with not one but four babies! Ashley's post, with the caption "Thank you for praying, but I think you prayed too hard," captured everyone's hearts.
Ashley found herself with a one-in-70 million pregnancy with quadruplet girls, two being identical twins, with a high-risk pregnancy ahead.
Ashley lost weight during her pregnancy. She was sick, and even felt like she was dying at times. But she knew the journey would lead to the best gift of her life.
When the babies were born, there were 37 people in the delivery room, all needed to make sure everything went well.
The babies weighed less than three pounds, and they had to fight for their lives with their new mommy and daddy by their sides.
But the family's journey has now officially begun. Scarlett, Indie, Esme, and Evangeline are healthy and home. And the Gardner family is finally complete!
