Love Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade? Here’s A Simple Way To Make It At Home On The Cheap!

Fancy Starbucks drinks are my favorite indulgence. Unfortunately, those indulgences add up. My wallet is a little less than enthusiastic about my expensive taste in drinks.

At 5 bucks or more a pop, that's easily $35 bucks or more a week on drinks. That can add up to around $250 a month! Instead of spending the cash, I've started making my own Stabucks Passion Tea Lemonade at home.

Simple recipes like this can save you a ton of money, much like this two-ingredient ice cream or this two-ingredient Coca-Cola chicken wing recipe!

Think of all you can do with the extra $250 a month. Put it into a savings account, go to a concert, get that new air conditioner (summer is coming), pay off old hospital bills or debts. The list of what we could do with an extra couple of hundred bucks a month is endless.

This copycat recipe is totally simple but completely effective.

What you'll need:

  • Tazo passion tea (you can always pick a different tea of your choosing, though the flavor won’t be identical!)
  • 1/2 cup squeezed lemon juice or bottled lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Water

It looks much better in a Mason jar than a plastic cup (and it’s better for the environment).
