When Ricky Spaulding was called into the Anderson County High School gym during the final pep rally of the year, this janitor assumed it was to clean up a big old mess. What he did not expect to clean up was a big old pile of money!
The students and faculty at this Lexington, KY school did something wonderful for this hardworking janitor and his wife. They donated all they could to send the Spauldings to Italy to visit their son, who is stationed overseas and meet their new grandchild. Spaulding could not control his emotions! As a janitor, Spaulding never gets much attention, but this kind act proved that people DO notice what a kindhearted and deserving person he is. This absolutely melted my heart!
