When The Lost Dogs Home, a shelter in Melbourne, Australia, realized that the sad ads they and other shelters were running weren't doing the trick, they decided to take drastic action. Instead of spending money on television commercials, the Lost Dogs Home decided to take their dogs to a downtown park, and urged office workers to take time out of their lunch break to get outside and be "rescued" by some sweet pups!
This is such a great idea, for both the people and the dogs, that I wish other shelters would do this! What a nice way to spend a lunch break – getting outside and spending some quality time with a dog that needs love!
