It appears that pieces of the doomed OceanGate Titan submersible have been recovered from the ocean floor. Five people died on board the submersible on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The photos were taken in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada. They show what seem to be pieces of the sub's landing gear and outer shell.
It is presumed that the pieces will be analyzed as part of the investigation into the accident that killed all five people who are on the submersible. The sub originally vanished roughly two hours into its planned trip.
