Andrea had been looking forward to this special day for years, and when it finally came time for the father and daughter dance, she had to go it alone without him.
Some lucky families get to plan out elaborate dances, like the famous video of the young couple who created a hilariously choreographed routine. Or even the heartbreaking video of a dying mother who, using her last bit of strength, had a final dance with her newly married son. As sad as that story was, at least they got to share that special moment together.
Poor Andrea was going to miss out on that special moment, but thankfully, someone close to her came up with an incredible idea. Even though Andrea's father had passed away due to pancreatic cancer, she still got a chance to turn a sad moment into an inspired one.
The look on her face at the 1:26 mark is heartbreakingly beautiful. Though it's a shame she had to go it alone, it's a true blessing that she had the love and support of her family and friends.
The love she had for her late father is obvious, but the emotions she expresses throughout that beautiful song really say it all. He may be gone physically, but her dad is certainly there in spirit!
We're sure that Andrea's wedding was amazing and that the honeymoon was beautiful, and hopefully she'll be able to buy a beautiful house with kids and a dog to live out the rest of her days. After all, her father is certainly there in spirit to look after her!
