In case you missed it, R&B star Ne-Yo currently has four girlfriends: Cristina, Arielle, Moneii, and Brionna. He introduced them on social media in March 2025, writing, “Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly. LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID.”
Reactions to his relationship announcement were mixed. Some said people really weren’t all that “intrigued” by Ne-Yo’s polyamorous relationship. “The world isn’t that intrigued,” one person wrote at the time. “YOU just keep putting it in our faces. NOBODY cares that much.” However, others seemed to disagree. “We need a reality show!” someone else commented. “I want to see how these girls all get along every day.”
Periodically, Ne-Yo will post about his girlfriends on Instagram. He was also recently spotted shopping with his them. In photos shared by Page Six, Ne-Yo and the four women can be seen looking around a SKIMS store in Los Angeles. All five of them appeared to stay close together as they shopped around the store. After the shopping trip, Ne-Yo, Cristina, Arielle, Moneii, and Brionna reportedly went out for dinner and drinks.
The singer also recently spoke up about polyamory during a Wednesday, September 10 interview on Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 stream. He revealed that although he’s not “legally married” to anyone, he thinks of his four girlfriends as his “wives.”
Based on his conversation with Kai, it sounds like Ne-Yo’s divorce was what inspired him to explore polyamory. Monogamy “didn’t go well” for the musician, so he spoke to one of the women he was interested in at the time about polyamory. He said to her: “Listen, you know I rock with you. I absolutely rock with you. But it ain’t just you. I also rock with her, and her, and her. So what I wanna do is bring this whole thing together. If you with it, let’s rock. If you’re not, that’s cool too. No love lost. You go your way and I go mine.”
He believes being honest like this is “the only way it works.” Before he started dating his current girlfriends, Ne-Yo was married to Crystal Renay for seven years. They share three children and got divorced in 2022. Ne-Yo is also dad to four other kids.
“I’m 45 years old,” he said. “At this point in my life, everything I do is about what’s best for me, what’s best for my kids, what’s best for my tribe. That’s it.”
Now, several years after his divorce, Ne-Yo describes his love life as “phenomenal.” He said, “I’m in a great space. I am currently in a polyamorous relationship. I have four beautiful ladies that move with me on the regular.”
