In this day and age, it’s often the easier route to be a bit skeptical. Life can be difficult, but if you allow yourself to be open to extraordinary moments, it can also surprise you.
Heather and Sean couldn’t have been more different. Sean was training to be in the Army while Heather had always been quite shy and loved to read.
According to People, even though Sean wasn’t really into being set up at the time, after their first date the couple were “inseparable.” From there, things moved quickly for the couple, they moved in together and were married the following year.
One of the first things they talked about as a couple was trying to have kids because it was Heather’s greatest dream to be a mother.
It took several years for the couple to conceive, but when they finally did, Sean was always amazed at Heather’s strength and determination as she could never sit still, even though she had high blood pressure.
Tragically, Heather’s health problem escalated to a dangerous level during her pregnancy. People reports that during Heather’s pregnancy, she suffered a brain aneurysm at 34 weeks pregnant. She slipped into a coma and doctors had to perform an emergency C-section.

Sadly, all of this happened while Sean was deployed in Afghanistan. After three days of travel, he was finally able to meet his son for the first time. When Sean met with the doctors, they told him that it was very lucky that both his wife and premature son were alive.
