Shelby Rodriguez is a young mom from Canada who simply wanted to get her workout in. Never did she think she'd be leaving her gym embarrassed and on the verge of tears.
Shelby arrived in a black sports bra and matching leggings — a typical outfit for a woman at the gym.

Upon entering, however, the employee at the front desk told Shelby that her outfit (specifically the sports bra) didn't meet the dress code.
"Oh, we’re not allowed to wear a sports bra?" Shelby asked.
That's when the employee's tone became belittling, according to the surprised gym-goer.
"Well, we can’t just have our bellies hanging out," the employee responded.
About an inch of Shelby's belly was showing between her top and leggings.
Though the employee let Shelby begin her workout as a "one-time exception," she says she was only on the treadmill for 15 minutes when another staff member approached her — this time, asking her to the leave the gym altogether.
