150 Strangers Attend Funeral Of 7-Week-Old Baby Who Starved To Death To Show She Was Loved.

This is so tragic, it's almost hard to believe. Mya Edwards, a 7-month-old baby from Chicago, was found starved to death by her parents.

To show that she was truly loved, 150 people — 30 members of the police department and 100 strangers — attended her funeral arranged by Rest in His Arms, a nonprofit organization. Everything from the funeral was donated. I am so grateful for these people, who showed compassion and took time out of their days to do this for Mya.

Mya's parents faced felony counts of child endangerment and manslaughter.
