Whatever you do, if you ever get an invite to Kylie Kelce’s house, do not bring gifts for her kids. OK, that sounds a little more harsh than it probably should, but Kylie shared on her Not Gonna Lie podcast that she would prefer her guests to do something else with her kids besides add to their toys and trinkets in the home she shares with husband Jason Kelce.
To be fair, how many of us have told a friend, parent, or sibling that they absolutely do not need to bring one of our kids yet another oversized stuffed animal or toy set with no less than 75 pieces to keep track of? Holidays and birthdays are a different story. But for a casual visit or drop-in at the Kelce house, Kylie has a different kind of gift her kids would appreciate just as much.
Kylie Kelce has a specific way guests can bond with her daughters.
Kylie and Jason share four daughters. And, she explained on her podcast, guests often like to bring gifts for her kids. Which is all well and good, because who doesn’t get a kick out of spoiling adorable children? However, Kylie explained to her guest, WNBA player Caitlin Clark, she has another idea for her guests that would endear them to her daughters in the same way.
“I know one way to my girls’ hearts, and really kids, I always tell people you don’t need to bring gifts when you come to our house,” Kylie explained. “If you come in, you sit down, you offer to read our girls a book.”
She then added, “Like genuinely, we have obviously family [that] will come and they’ll bring this and they’ll bring that. But if when you come and you sit down, you read a book, I think it’s one of the best ways to connect with kids.”
This might have also been a way for Kylie to endear herself to Caitlin, who popped up on the podcast to promote her children’s book, EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams. But, Kylie also said during the podcast episode, by reading to her kids, guests have the chance to help her kids ask questions and learn a little something.
Kylie Kelce said she would write a children’s book.
Although as of late 2026, Kylie has not released a children’s book, she might enter that arena at some point in the future. It would make sense, given her kids’ affinity for books and her love for her kids being exposed to stories and storytimes rather than stimulating (and overstimulating) toys alone.
In another episode of her podcast, Kylie answered a fan question about whether or not she would write a children’s book and she said she “absolutely” would. She then went into detail about a children’s book she wrote as a child that her mom kept. It hasn’t gone to print (yet), but hey, it could eventually be used as inspiration for a children’s book that Kylie does release.
Kylie Kelce tries to keep her kids out of the spotlight.
One reason behind Kylie’s rule regarding guests and gifts for her kids might be an attempt to also keep them humble. In October 2026, she appeared on The Squeeze podcast, where she admitted that she tries not to share too many photos of her daughters anymore.
“I made it a point to stop putting their faces on my social media,” she shared.
She added, “People online have opinions about it. People online take issue with the fact that I discuss my kids’ lives, which I think is kind of crazy, let alone show their faces on anything.”
While there are still some photos of her kids, her Instagram is less about full-time coverage of her kids’ lives and more about her own life, work, and interests.
