There’s a new challenge called Drop And Give Me 10 aiming to bring awareness to a special cause.
Similarly to the Ice Bucket Challenge benefiting ALS, the push-up challenge is helping the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. It aims to “provide college scholarships and educational counseling to military children who have lost a parent while serving our country.”
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees participated in the challenge after Man vs. Wild star Bear Grylls nominated him. The best part? He had his four adorable children help him out.
In the video shared on the team’s Facebook page, Brees has his 9-month-old daughter Rylen safely strapped on his back with his three boys next to him. Together they all did 10 push-ups. (Make sure to pay attention to the son in the back! Looks like there’s going to be another athlete in the family.)
The video has since been shared thousands of times bringing some needed attention to the foundation as Executive Director John Coogan hopes for.
"It is an honor to have so much support from communities across the nation,” he said. "We can't thank everyone enough for contributing to this challenge, and we are looking forward to seeing more videos as they are posted.
