‘Home Improvement’ Star Patricia Richardson Reflects On Being Flashed By Tim Allen On Set

In her memoir, Love, Pamela, actress and activist Pamela Anderson accuses her Home Improvement costar Tim Allen of flashing her on the set of the show. While Tim has denied the allegation, a clip of the actor flashing his costar Patricia Richardson on set has resurfaced, and that clip is making a few people see the incident differently.

Tim is dressed in a kilt in the clip, an outfit that elicits a reaction from Patricia, who played his wife.

Patricia responds in jest, "Hangs long, I just wish it was shorter."

The actress was recently shown the clip again by Entertainment Tonight, and she seemed entertained watching it.

She shared, "People ask me what was under the kilt when he flashed me — he was well dressed under there. I was just shocked that he lifted the kilt, not by a man in boxer shorts."

Pamela starred on the show for two seasons as Lisa the Tool Girl. She has claimed that Tim flashed her on her very first day on the show. As she recalls in the book, she was only 23 years old at the time.

Pamela has since clarified that she doesn't think Tim Allen meant anything too terrible by the incident. In response to Tim's denial, she texted Variety, "Tim is a comedian, it’s his job to cross the line. I’m sure he had no bad intentions."

She also clarified that she doesn't believe the same behavior could fly now. Pamela added, "Times have changed, though. I doubt anyone would try that post #MeToo. It’s a new world."
