Page Six has revealed that Madonna was found unresponsive in her home on Saturday, June 24, 2023, and rushed to the nearest hospital in New York City. The singer was intubated and spent at least one night in the ICU.
It's unclear why the information was not released sooner than today. Madonna's daughter Lourdes was with her throughout the experience.
Madonna's manager has shared that he hospitalization was due to "a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU." It's believed that Madonna is now out of the ICU, though she might still be hospitalized.
Madonna's manager has added that "her health is improving" but noted that his client is still under medical care. He has also shared that the singer has put a pause on her current obligations, including her tour.
