One Texas family is experiencing a happy ending eight years in the making. Missing person Rudolph "Rudy" Farias IV was found alive after disappearing while walking his two dogs. He is currently in the hospital recovering.
Much about this case is still unknown. The indisputable truth is his family is thrilled to have him back. They look forward to making up for lost time.
Before being found, Rudy was last seen when he was 17 years old, on March 6, 2015. He was found on July 1, near a church, unresponsive, with cuts and bruises on his body. He is now 25 years old. His mother believes he may have been the victim of abuse.
"After 8 long years, Rudy has been located safe," the Texas Center for the Missing confirmed in a tweet. "Please continue to keep his family in your prayers as Rudy recovers in the hospital."

Rudy was grieving his brother who died in a motorcycle accident at the time of his disappearance. He also had depression.
"His brother was his best friend in the world,” stated Brenda Paradise, a private investigator working to locate Rudy, in 2015. “He’s just gone through so much more than anyone his age ever should."
