Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Pink Palm Springs Mansion Is For Sale & The Pics Are So Over The Top

Zsa Zsa Gabor was the original celebrity. She was an Hungarian-born socialite and Hollywood actress of the 1940s and '50s. She was, in a word, fabulous. She is best known for her film roles such as Eve Melrose in We're Not Married! and Jane Avril in 1952’s Moulin Rouge.

Beyond her acting, Zsa Zsa was known for her luxurious lifestyle. She was married nine times to powerful men including Conrad Hilton and actor George Sanders. She threw swanky soirées and traveled extensively. She also possessed a quick wit. Her pink Palm Springs home is now on the market for $3.8 million. Let’s take a look inside.

The home was once owned by Zsa Zsa and her sister Magda. The house has been maintained well throughout the years. As Zsa Zsa was quipped: “I am a marvelous housekeeper: Every time I leave a man I keep his house.”

The house was a custom build. It includes many of the original furnishings. It is located in the upscale Little Tuscany neighborhood of Palm Springs and boasts 360-degree mountain and city views.

The house is a bubblegum pink color. It features a full-sized pool that is beautifully decorated with mosaic tiles. To enter the house, one passes through hand-carved double doors that are black and gold.

Inside the home is a divine living room featuring exquisite chandeliers and mirrored walls. When the music muse strikes, there is a grand piano. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining with its Viking appliances and original Hungarian rotisserie. The ceiling is gold-troweled and the room is perfectly framed by glass cabinets.

The primary suite is everything you dreamed it would be with its garden-themed wallpaper and gold accent pieces. There’s an office and sitting room, a dressing room, and a makeup room. The bathroom features both a shower and a huge tub to soak in. It opens up onto a patio.

The 3,441-square-foot home also has two additional bedrooms and bathrooms. Each is fabulous designed and decorated. The house is also extremely private when one wants their alone time.

Zsa Zsa died in 2016 at the age of 99 from a heart attack. At the time of her death, she was married to Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt, who was adopted as an adult by Princess Marie-Auguste of Anhalt, making him a sort of prince. Her only child, Constance Francesca Gabor Hilton, died the previous year but the pair had a strained relationship because of Frédéric.
