Former NFL linebacker Ryan Shazier's wife, Michelle, says that he cheated on her. On Wednesday, November 29, Michelle took to Instagram to share images of text messages that are allegedly between her husband Ryan and another woman, TMZ reported.
The original post has been deleted. "A person that loves his family … this is what they do to their family … the WIFE.. that has been there for him since day 1!" Michelle reportedly wrote in the post. "Infidelity at its finest! I can’t sit here and keep hiding anymore . You can have it. I deserve better. This is Ryan… he’s a liar and a cheater!"
The images appeared to show Ryan having a flirtatious conversation with the other woman, and sending her links to books about sex.
Ryan and Michelle got married in 2019. They also had their now 4-year-old son that year. Ryan announced his retirement from football in 2020 after a spinal cord injury in 2017 caused him to be temporary paralyzed.

TMZ reported that Ryan has responded to the allegations. He reportedly told TMZ, "Michelle and I have been living apart and are currently separated. As we work through what comes next for our family, I ask for privacy and prayers."
Some fans didn't think the exchange between Ryan and the woman seemed that bad. One person on X called it "surface level flirting."
Many others couldn't help but notice the titles of the books that Ryan allegedly sent to the woman.
"Those books are wild " one person wrote on X.
"The books make it funny as [expletive] bc this man ain't got no typa game " another responded.
In many of her Instagram posts, Michelle is pictured with Ryan and their son. On Father's Day, she wrote a heartfelt message for Ryan. " ✨Happy Fathers Day! We love you so much!! ✨ Celebrating the incredible fathers who make the world a better place. Happy Father’s we honor and appreciate the ones who fill our lives with love and laughter. Happy Father’s Day! " she wrote at the time.
On Michelle's birthday in August, Ryan also wrote a sentimental message about his wife. "Happy birthday to the most beautiful women in the world. I’m so blessed to have her as a best friend, wife, mother, and so much more. I’m so lucky to have been able to slide into her dms and it worked. Love you baby. I hope you’re having a wonderful day. ❤️" he wrote at the time.
In May, Ryan posted on Instagram to celebrate their anniversary. "4 years ago was the best day ive ever had. To be so lucky to be married to the beautiful and wonderful woman man its such a blessing. Michelle i love you so much i cant wait to spend a lifetime together. Baby 4 years in and 40 to go. Love you Happy Anniversary Wonderful ," he wrote.
Many social media users pointed out that Michelle stood by Ryan when he was at his low point in his life and learning to cope with an injury that ended up ruining his football career.
"Ryan Shazier just reminded me how men not only deserve less they deserve nothing at this point," one person tweeted.
"His wife stayed throughout his recovery just for him to cheat.. what a disgrace," another X user wrote.
