New Year's Eve is supposed to be a day filled with hope and celebration for the coming year. Unfortunately, this was not the case for 90210 alum Ian Ziering. TMZ was the first to break the news he was reportedly involved in a brawl on Hollywood Boulevard. The whole thing was caught on video.
Ian addressed the incident on Instagram. Another video of the incident shows him comforting his daughter Mia, who was with him at the time. Both Ian and Mia are physically fine but it was a traumatic experience, to say the least.
The video shows Ian’s vehicle being surrounded by mini-bikes. Ian exits the car and physically confronts one of the riders. There is some speculation that the bike hit the car.
After Ian and one of the bikers appear to get into a physical altercation, the rest of the gang circles back and gets involved. They surround Ian and begin attacking the actor. Ian ends up running across the street to get away from them. The video appears to show the bikers chase him and get in several more blows. They even push him into a parked car.

KTLA reported that the LAPD responded to the scene after reports of fighting breaking out after a group of bikers drove recklessly. The incident happened at around 3 p.m. near Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. This is a busy area that is popular with tourists.
Ian was listed as a victim in the official police report. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to this incident. The investigation is still ongoing.
Ian took to Instagram to share his side of the story. “Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes,” he began. “While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation. In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself.”
Following this incident, Ian is concerned about the state of our world. “I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace. This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior,” he went on to say.
Ian ended his post with a call to action while also expressing his gratitude. “I urge city officials and law enforcement to take decisive action against such lawlessness and provide the necessary resources to prevent future occurrences. I am thankful for the support of my family, friends, and fans during this time. It’s in challenging moments like these that the strength and unity of our community are most vital. Happy new year,” he concluded.
