An angry McDonald's customer is reportedly responsible for the death of a Houston-area attorney. On Saturday, May 4, a customer was arguing with employees at a McDonald's in Houston because he was upset about his order. Attorney Jeffrey Limmer, 46, tried to intervene and attempted to help the customer calm down. Instead, the conflict escalated, and the angry customer redirected his anger at Limmer.
ABC13 reported that the two men went outside and Limmer pushed the angry customer to the ground.
Police believe the customer then got a gun from his car and shot Limmer, reported ABC13. The alleged shooter hasn't been caught, according to FOX26, as he reportedly drove away in an early 2000s blue Ford pickup truck.
Local outlet KPRC reported that Limmer went back into the McDonald's restaurant after he was shot and paramedics were called, but he later died.
Limmer's sister, Jennifer Thomas, spoke to ABC13 and said that her brother was "always laughing, making jokes, and just loving life."

"Knowing Jeff, he's the one who always says, 'Calm down. It's not that big of a deal,' and divert the situation," his sister told ABC13. "He's always wanted to fight for the little guy and do the right thing."
She said her brother frequented that McDonald's because he lived in the area.
