Joshua Jackson and Lupita Nyong'o sparked dating rumors in October 2023 when they were spotted holding hands. By December, they went public with their romance. But now, the Dawson's Creek actor and Black Panther actress have reportedly split.
Although fans were rooting for them, breakup rumors started swirling in September. Joshua was then photographed with a model at the premiere of the new series Grotesquerie. And according to a source, he's very much single and ready to mingle.

On September 27, ET Online reported that Joshua is officially single. "He's out and about, dating and living his life," an unnamed source told the outlet. "He’s prioritizing being a great dad and his career, and in between that, having fun."
"Lupita is so happy she’s spending her birthday with Joshua, and he’s treating her like a total princess," a source told Us Weekly of the couple's trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in March. "He surprised her with a spa day at the resort and romantic dinners. He’s pulling out all the stops because he wants to make her feel really special."
Although their relationship seemed strong, the couple hadn't been spotted together for months when the breakup rumors began. And Joshua has seemingly already moved on with another woman.
On September 23, Joshua attended the premiere of Grotesquerie (although he does not appear in the series). The actor was spotted with German model Nastassja Roberts at the New York City event, People reported. However, Joshua and Nastassja did not share any PDA at the premiere, the Daily Mail reported — so it's unclear if they are simply friends or something more.
A source told People that Joshua and Nastassja were also seen together in NYC on September 25.

Joshua was married to Jodie Turner-Smith for four years before the actress filed for divorce in October 2023. However, Jodie publicly supported Joshua and Lupita's relationship during a June interview with The Cut.
"Good for them," she told the publication. "We need happiness in order to peacefully co-parent." She added, “I truly hope they’re happy and that it benefits us as a family."
Joshua recently opened up about filming his series Doctor Odyssey — and specifically, how he handles being a single parent to his and Jodie's daughter, Juno, amid his divorce. The 46-year-old told his former Dawson's Creek co-star Sasha Alexander a must each morning is taking Juno to school.
"I said to production, you know, 'This is a non-negotiable for me, I cannot start before I drop her off in the morning,'" Joshua shared. "So she knows dad cares every single day."
