Marjorie Taylor Greene Reacts To Trump’s Strikes In Iran: ‘It’s Always America Last’

Former congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who was once a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump, began publicly disagreeing with the president in 2025 and eventually resigned from Congress. Now that Trump has announced military operations in Iran, Greene is once again making her feelings very clear and not holding back whatsoever. In a series of posts, Greene slammed Trump for deviating from what he promised when he ran for president, emphasizing how he “promised to put America FIRST and Make America Great Again,” but in reality, “it’s always America Last.”

She also noted that there’s “ZERO accountability for anyone from the MAGA America First administration as they run off to start wars and the board of peace at the same time.”

Greene argued that Americans don’t want war with Iran.

When Trump took to Truth Social to announce that Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed, Greene reminded him that Americans are struggling to afford housing and other necessities. Sharing a screenshot of his post on X, she wrote, “Great Mr President. Good job. You’re a billionaire and the American people, not the Iranian people, who voted for you are not billionaires.”

She continued, “As a matter of fact many of them are flat out broke, in all time high credit card debt, can’t afford health insurance or car insurance for that matter, and most young people can’t afford to buy a house or even their rent payment.”

Greene pointed out that people in Trump’s generation “were able to thrive on single incomes,” which is now “practically impossible for the vast majority of American families.” And while baby boomers might still support him, she argued, the younger generations actually “hate this f—ing bull—t.” She also reminded Trump that this is not what he promised when he ran for president again. “We, as in YOU and me, campaigned on America First,” she concluded. “And this is NOT it.”

In another post, she questioned how the Trump administration can pretend to be “Pro-Peace.”

In one of her lengthy X posts, Greene listed multiple issues that are currently impacting Americans, including inflation, health insurance costs, drug addiction, and mental health concerns. She drew attention to the fact that war with Iran will not resolve any of these issues.

“But within hours of war with Iran it was reported approximately 40 innocent girls, school children, in Iran were killed by bombs from Israel,” she wrote. “And they don’t care, they killed thousands of innocent children in Gaza, and apparently our Pro-Peace administration doesn’t care either. And, since they won’t solve America’s problems clearly they don’t care about our kids either.”

She went on to accuse the Trump administration of gaslighting people. “Now, America is going to be force fed and gas lighted all the ‘noble’ reasons the American ‘Peace’ President and Pro-Peace administration had to go to war once again this year, after being in power for only a year,” she added. “Head-spinning, but maga.”

She said the “betrayal” is worse this time because of Trump’s campaign promises.

After feeling “let down, abused, and used by our government” for years, Greene thought Trump was different. She wrote, “We said ‘No More Foreign Wars, No More Regime Change!’ We said it on rally stage after rally stage, speech after speech. Trump, Vance, basically the entire admin campaigned on it and promised to put America FIRST and Make America Great Again.”

Reacting to the claim that “Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons,” Greene added, “We have been spoon fed that line for decades and Trump told us all that his bombing this past summer completely wiped it all out. It’s always a lie and it’s always America Last. But it feels like the worst betrayal this time because it comes from the very man and the admin who we all believed was different and said no more.”

In the same post, she also mentioned how people “had to fight Trump” for the release of the Epstein files, and yet still, there’s been “no accountability, no justice” and “instead, we get a war with Iran.”

And just in case her views were not already abundantly clear, she also reposted this:
