Donald Trump Keeps Going To The Dentist & People Are Suspicious About What It Means

President Donald Trump has been going to the dentist quite a bit lately, and people are starting to get suspicious. Sure, going to multiple dentist appointments within a short period of time isn’t unheard of. But given that Trump is approaching 80 and people have been speculating about his health for some time now, the unexplained dentist appointments seem especially odd.

Besides, Trump has not been going to the on-site dental clinic at the White House, for some unknown reason. Instead, he has visited a dentist in Florida, which makes the whole situation even weirder.

He has an appointment on May 26.

This particular appointment is for his annual dental and medical evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, HuffPost reported. What makes it weird is that Trump has already been to the dentist two other times this year, and one of those visits was just a couple of weeks ago.

According to the publication, he also visited the dentist in January of this year. Both of those appointments were in Florida, and the White House said they were “scheduled.” It’s unclear what, exactly, these “routine” appointments were for. And, again, the fact that Trump didn’t visit the White House’s on-site dental clinic is unusual. Per The Independent, Former President Joe Biden went to the White House’s clinic for a root canal (and we all know how much Trump loves being compared to Biden).

Some people are convinced that these “dental” appointments are actually something else entirely.

On May 2, while in Florida, White House officials told the press traveling with him that Trump went to the dentist then for “a scheduled dental appointment at his local dentist in Florida."

Of course, this is mere speculation. But given that people have noticed Trump’s bruised hands, swollen ankles, and his tendency to fall asleep during meetings, among other concerns, a lot of people suspect that something else could be going on.

Discussing the topic on Reddit, some critics of the president argued that routine dental visits wouldn’t be that strange for the average person. But Trump is not the average person. “They have a dental office in the White House for the president,” one person wrote. “He wouldn’t need to go somewhere for dental work. This is just a cover for something else.” Someone else agreed, responding with, “While multiple visits isn’t uncommon, the president going for visits very much is.”

After all, Trump keeps talking about his cognitive tests.

So, of course, that’s what a lot of people thought of when they heard about Trump’s dental visits. At this point, Trump has bragged about “acing” several cognitive tests multiple times. People have repeatedly mocked him and said taking multiple cognitive tests is not a flex, but he still seems to see this as a major achievement.

Several Redditors had doubts about the dental visits and assumed “dental” could actually mean something else entirely. “His ‘dentist’ administers cognitive tests,” one person wrote.

Someone else said, “Dentist visit for Donny now, huh? That’s what they call that now?”

Trump has been known to brag about how healthy he is, and some critics think he genuinely believes this to be true. “I honestly think he is not 100 percent ‘in the know’ about whats wrong with him and what his medical appts are checking for, etc.” another person speculated.

A recent poll from The Washington Post, ABC News, and Ipsos found that many Americans are concerned about Trump’s mental and physical health and his ability to serve as president (per The Independent). To be fair, he might really just be going to the dentist, but it’s clear that people would like to know why.
