Rick Harrison, Pawn Stars creator, has revealed that his son Adam Harrison died from a fentanyl overdose. Adam, who died at age 39, was found dead on January 19, 2024. At the time, the cause of Adam's death had not been revealed, and the Harrison family shared a statement with multiple outlets, saying: "Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss."
On January 22, Rick told TMZ that his son reportedly died from a fentanyl overdose. "The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously," he told TMZ.
Rick shared some happy memories of his son Adam on Instagram. In one post, he wrote, "You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. " He also shared two photos from Adam's childhood, writing, "Amazing memories."
Rick's eldest son, Corey, 40, also shared an image from when he and his brother were kids. He wrote, "Wax wtf I will always love you bubba."
Rick and his ex-wife Kim were parents to both Adam and Corey. Rick has another son, Jake, whom he shares with his second wife Tracy.

Adam was not on Pawn Stars, but he reportedly worked at the family's pawn shop in Las Vegas, Gold & Silver Pawn, before the show that is based on it started.
