Carrie Underwood And Her Family Are Safe After A House Fire At Singer’s Tennessee Home

Carrie Underwood, along with her family and pets, are all confirmed to be safe following a house fire that took place at her Tennessee property in Leiper's Fork/Hillsboro in Williamson County on June 16, 2024.

A spokesperson of the 41-year-old singer released a statement to Good Morning America stating that the fire was contained quickly and that "there was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed."

Williamson County Fire/Rescue shared in a media release that all eight of its stations were dispatched to a fire alarm in District 21. "Within seconds, the call was upgraded to a structure fire. The homeowner reported that a UTV was on fire next to the garage and a handline was pulled from the first due fire apparatus to control the flames," it read.

The department also shared a post to X (formerly known as Twitter). "At 9:42 Station 21 was dispatched to a fire alarm in their district. Almost immediately the call was upgraded to a structure fire," it read.

"Crews from all eight of our stations responded," it continued. "Fairview fire provided a tanker and crew as well. Upon arrival, 1401 found flames coming from the garage. Crews were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house."

Firefighters continue to put out hotspots to prevent further spread," the post concluded. "The cause of fire is under investigation. There are no injuries at this time."

According to the media release, "crews were able to check for fire extension inside the walls." A water supply from a 10,000-gallon reservoir on the property helped extinguish the fire quickly, preventing it from spreading into Carrie's house. No firefighters were harmed.

Fans rushed to pour out their support.

"Oh wow. Glad everyone is ok," one person said.

"Thank God they’re ok and the damage was minimal," another person wrote. "God be with them."

Hours before the fire, the singer posted a picture of her with her animals on Instagram Stories. “Sheep selfie with Gray and Gary," she captioned it.

Carrie, her husband, former NHL player Mike Fisher, their sons Isaiah and Jacob, and their pets were all home during the fire. The incident occurred on Father’s Day, but it is uncertain if it impacted their plans.
